Welcome to Collective Creatures

All inverts shown on our species pages are currently in our keeping, I update these pages once a month to add any new livestock & remove anything we are no longer breeding.

We keep and raise our inverts because we enjoy them. We try to research and study them as much as possible and when practical we sometimes experiment with different colours and patterns.

We keep our small creatures purely as a hobby & for our children to raise.

We only ever sell surplus offspring that we have bred ourselves.
We do not sell wild caught inverts and we do not buy in livestock for sale purposes.

2012 - 2022

10 years ago we started off with a 2 page website showing pictures of our snails, now our hobby has grown & our children have been involved with keeping & rearing other inverts and we are still enjoying it.

As a Thank You to all of our customers for the support over the years which has help towards paying for us to get more small creatures, we are giving a 10% discount off all orders, for the whole year.

Please check our shipping info page BEFORE placing an order
as I will not be held responsible for any misunderstandings later on!

Most small creatures enjoy nibbling at algae & lichen - try placing sticks & branches in for them.

Unwanted inverts & eggs...

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Prohibits the release into the wild, of any animal species not native to Great Britain.

The damage that non native species can do to our own plant & animal life could be extensive
because of the amount of eggs laid, babies born & food consumed by invertebrates.

If you ever have unwanted inverts or snail eggs, please freeze & crush them properly BEFORE disposal.
