We were previously known as Collective Snails until our children discovered that isopods & millipedes are also great fun to keep and fascinating to watch, now we have a growing collection of small creatures!
Most small creatures enjoy nibbling at algae & lichen - try placing sticks & branches in for them.
Unwanted snail eggs...
The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Prohibits the release into the wild, of any animal species not native to Great Britain. The damage to our countryside, that non native species can do to our own plant & animal life could be extensive because of the amount of eggs laid, babies born & food consumed by invertebrates. If you ever have unwanted snail eggs, please freeze & crush them properly BEFORE disposal.
