A selection of useful stuff that we use regularly in the bug room.
The Limestone Granules are sold in sample bags approx 9 x 13cm.
Plastic Water Dish - 9.5cm × 1×5cm
The 25g water gel crystals will swell up a lot so don’t soak them all at once (dish not included)
The coarse vermiculite is good for hatching phasmid eggs.
Clay Pebbles are sold in 1ltr bags & useful for improving drainage but I just sprinkle a few about in most of our tubs for snails & isopods to nibble at & they seem to like it.
Latex gloves, 50 pairs of pre-powdered, size small latex gloves (new sealed box)
Our Phasmid Hatching Cups are approx 10 - 12cm tall & will include enough vermiculite & dry moss for each tub and a plastic cap for placing the eggs into.
Our Cuttlefish Bone is natural so shape may vary & it will have imperfections but I have soaked & rinsed it 3 times before boiling.
